Concrete staining is done to cured concrete. It is a process whereby a new or existing slab may be scored and/or colored to resemble expensive marble or tile. The stain we use is an acid based solution which permanently colors concrete through a chemical reaction. It is not simply a watery paint like typical concrete stains available at paint stores or home centers. Acid stain will not chip, peel, or flake and it wears only as the concrete surface wears.

Acid stain is available in a variety of colors, mostly earthtones. It leaves a unique mottled appearance which no other coloring method can duplicate. The appearance of the finished product is somewhat unpredictable due to the fact that the color is achieved through chemical reaction, and each load of concrete reacts differently.
